Every four years, conservative Americans must watch presidential debates moderated by liberal journalists who act more like Democratic activists than moderators.
That may finally come to an end.
The Republican National Committee has sent a message to the Commission on Presidential Debates. They’re not going to play this game anymore.

RNC Votes To Ban GOP Presidential Candidates From Sanctioned Debates
The Republican National Committee is preparing to change its rules at upcoming party meetings to ban future Republican presidential candidates from participating in debates sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates.
RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel sent a letter to the debate committee co-chairs on Thursday alleging that the committee has not thoroughly considered the RNC’s proposed reforms about how presidential debates are conducted in general elections. The RNC expressed its concerns in a June letter to the committee and made recommendations to improve the debate process.
“As long as the CPD appears intent on making the meaningful reforms necessary to restore its credibility with the Republican Party as an honest and impartial actor, the RNC appears to be doing everything it can to ensure that future Republican presidential candidates who chance elsewhere,” said McDaniel. wrote in the letter.
“Accordingly, the RNC will initiate the process to change Republican Party rules at our upcoming Winter Meeting to ban future Republican nominees from participating in CPD-sponsored debates,” she added.
They should have done that years ago, but better late than never.
For years, the Commission on Presidential Debates has been biased against Republicans.
As they continue to hold back common sense reforms, the RNC is leveling the playing field to make debates fair for future nominees.
