Report: Former Trump associates plot plans to stop Trump from running in 2024

Disgruntled former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham revealed on Thursday that a group of former Trump administration officials, including herself, are working on a coordinated campaign to essentially try to overturn a possible 2024 presidential administration by former President Donald Trump. thwart.

Grisham said the group of about 15 is plotting to prevent Trump from what Grisham called “bringing chaos and destruction to the country” if he were to run for a second term in 2024.

Hoping to convert the masses

Grisham told CNN on Thursday that what started as casual chats by shocked elites grew into “throwning around ideas” about what could be done, how to “formalize” the group and also recruit more members.

Grisham also stated that she hopes to travel across the country to talk to Trump supporters. “I hope to travel around the country myself and talk to people who are believers like I once was, and I want people to understand who he is. He cares about no one but himself.”

However, Grisham added that she just didn’t want to talk about Trump, but those in his inner circle:

“I just think it will be important for people in this country who still support him to hear from people who have worked with him day in, day out, with many people in his inner circle. We’re not just going to talk about, you know, the former president. We’re going to talk about the people who still surround him and who they really are.’

Possible participants

A report from CNN reveals some of the Cabal working with Grisham. There are some familiar but not surprising names on the list.

Among those invited are Chris Krebs, former director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency within the Department of Homeland Security.

Also possibly in attendance, former National Security Adviser John Bolton, former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, former DHS official Miles Taylor, and former Homeland Security and Counter-Terrorism Adviser to former Vice President Mike Pence, Olivia Troye.

Sarah Tinsley, spokeswoman for Bolton, confirmed she would attend the meeting. A spokesperson for Krebs would not confirm or deny.

Stephanie Grisham also said she met with the House Select Committee on January 6. Grisham had this to say about what she says her only knowledge of that day was:

“All I know of that day is that he was happily sitting in the dining room, watching his TV, as he often did. “Look at all the people fighting for me,” rewind and watch again. That’s what I know.”

‘Tell everything’ book

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, who never held a press conference, also served as chief of staff to former First Lady Melania Trump. In September, she published a “tell everything” book titled “I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw at the Trump White House.”

In the book, she tried to portray the former First Lady as a runaway elitist.

During her tenure as Mrs. Trump’s top aide, Grisham claimed that during the violence that erupted at the Capitol, she asked the First Lady if she wanted Grisham to tweet, “Peaceful protests are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness.” and violence.” She says the First Lady answered “no”.

Another story from Grisham’s tome suggested that Melania Trump had no interest in scheduling the traditional tea that takes place between outgoing and incoming First Ladies, in this case herself and incoming First Lady Jill Biden.

At the time, Melania Trump criticized the book as “an attempt to redeem herself (Grisham) after a poor performance as a press secretary, failed personal relationships and unprofessional behavior at the White House.”
