Donald Trump apparently lives rent-free in the mind of Joe Biden.

While campaigning for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia, Biden mentioned Trump’s name a whopping 24 times.

What Biden doesn’t seem to realize is that this makes him seem weak, not Trump.

The New York Post reports:

President Biden appeared fixated on former President Donald Trump on Tuesday in a Virginia speech to Terry McAuliffe, the Democratic nominee for governor.

Biden called Trump by name 24 times during a brisk 17-minute speech in a park near the Pentagon in northern Virginia, in an attempt to use his predecessor’s legacy to bash Republican Glenn Youngkin, who has voted in polls. equals McAuliffe in a state that Biden won by 10 points just a year ago.

Trump has neither campaigned for Youngkin nor endorsed the race.

But the suddenly tight Virginia contest with Youngkin has become a test of Biden’s political strength ahead of next year’s midterm elections and a potential rematch with Trump in the 2024 presidential race — and comes as Biden’s approval ratings and polls have taken a nosedive on core issues…

“I ran into Donald Trump. Terry is taking on a Donald Trump acolyte,” Biden said, criticizing the ex-president, accusing him of instigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, as well as disparaging former Secretary of State Colin Powell. and Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) after they died.
