Jared Leto Takes Part in the #GoodThingChallenge

Jared Leto was tagged by Zedd to take part in the #GoodThingChallenge, which encourages kindness by doing “something good, no matter how big or small.”

The Thirty Seconds to Mars singer took to Twitter on Tuesday (Oct. 22) to share his two good deeds, one of which involved two young boys, 3-year-old Griffin and 18-month-old Watson, who were seriously injured after “a car hit their stroller as they were crossing at a crosswalk,” according to their GoFundMe page.

“Watson suffered a broken neck, broken pelvis, and lacerated liver. Griffin suffered a full break skull fracture, broken clavicle, and abrasions,” Leto, who donated $5,000 to the family, tweeted.

Leto also donated to Zaid, who “survived severed burns as a two year old when his bed accidentally caught fire. The funds will be used for functional surgeries and potential reconstructive procedures.”

Leto finished his positive message by tagging Cara Delevigne, Imagine DragonsDan Reynolds and The Chainsmokers‘ Drew Taggart. “Remember the smallest gesture can make a big impact…even if it’s just a hello and a smile,” he wrote. See his full #GoodThingChallenge on Twitter below.
