In a captivating, genre-crossing effort, Portland-raised singer Sarah Tromley enlisted Fluencee to give her latest single “Fake It” the remix treatment.
Since starting her career in 2019, Tromley has consistently earned praise for her authentic and powerful lyrics, while this new Fluencee remix marks her first-ever venture into the electronic dance music space.
In addition to signing his original productions with labels such as Lowly (“Demons”) and Metanoia Music (“Boomerang”), Fluencee has taken on official remix duties for the likes of The Chainsmokers, The Knocks, NERVO and Elephante. , and more. With his reworking of Sarah Tromley’s “Fake It”, he once again shows his production skills, giving the sultry R&B cut a clear future bass glow.
“It’s so cool to have Fluencee remix this song because it expands my audience while also showing how versatile my music can be across all genres,” Tromley said in a press statement.
The original “Fake It” was produced by industry legend LA Reid’s HitCo Entertainment team along with an award-winning troupe of music veterans, and Fluencee no doubt compliments their production on its remix as he imbues the track with clear sound design, rock-hard 808s and playful melodies.
