Dustin Lynch’s Forthcoming Album ‘Tullahoma’ & Tour Dates For 2020: See Them Here

Dustin Lynch already has a big year planned ahead of him in 2020: He’s set to release his forthcoming fourth album, Tullahoma, on Jan. 17 before embarking on his Stay Country Tour with opener Travis Denning, starting Jan. 30 at Detroit’s The Fillmore.

Named after his beloved hometown in Tennessee, Tullahoma recounts the country star’s childhood and embraces his Southern roots.

“It’s all about me and growing up in my hometown,” Lynch said in a press release. “Every song on this album points to something that happened to me or my close friends and family, and that’s really cool. I’m very proud of where I’m from, and proud of this record because it will hopefully make my hometown a little more famous than it already is.”

The album will absorb the previously released three-track EP Ridin’ Roads as well as his single “Good Girl” from May 2018, which topped Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart earlier this year. Longtime friend and co-writer/co-producer Zach Crowell helped Lynch spearhead the coming-of-age project from start to finish, marking the first time the country singer has used a single producer on an entire album.

And Tullahoma will get the tour treatment fairly quickly, which came after the hard-working singer wrapped up as opening act for Thomas Rhett’s Very Hot Summer Tour and reflected on what he has made time for.

“I’ve done a lot more living than I’ve done in the past, because this is the first time I’ve been able to tour and also feel like I have a life outside of that,” Lynch said in the release. “It’s figuring out what I enjoy about life the most — outside of music. The kind of stuff my mom and dad, my family and my friends back home did growing up. Outdoors stuff like hunting and fishing, hanging out in the backyard around a bonfire, just connecting … You get to a certain point in life and start reflecting on why you’re where you’re at.”

The Dustin Lynch Fan Presale begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time, which fans can access using a special pre-sale code from the newsletter on Monday, according to his website. Tickets for select dates of the Stay Country Tour go on sale to the general public on Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. local time, which can also be found here. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Cowboys and Angels Fund — a cause that Lynch founded in 2018 that supports children’s charities.
