Drake Reportedly Pulling French Montana Collaboration Over Kanye/Kim Kardashian Lyrics

French Montana’s new album They have amnesia is set to arrive Friday, but it may be missing a major feature.

When the original track listing was revealed, Drake was featured on a song called “Splash Brothers.” However, HipHop-N-More points out that the song has been removed from the track list on Apple Music and replaced with something called “fraud.”

Fans have speculated that “Splash Brothers” may have been taken off the album because it contained lyrics that could be interpreted as a shot at Ye.

Earlier this year, an excerpt of the song leaked in which Drake refers to his rumors of a relationship with Kim Kardashian. “I’ll fuck the rapper’s wife and she’s not even my type,” he would rap.

Earlier this week, Drake and Ye crushed their beef and reunited in Toronto, so it’s possible Drake ripped the song off during their reconciliation.

Before that, Drake upset Ye with his lyrics to “Greece,” which also seemed to refer to Kim. “Rolls-Royce, baby, in Hidden Hills / Bags full of hundred dollar bills / Joggin’ past your wife and she’s going to get chills,” he raps.

While Kim has denied the two had any contact, Kanye wasn’t happy to see Drake insinuating otherwise. “But you did as you did,” he said during his recent “Drink Champs” interview. “It’s like someone throwing a marble and hiding their hand.”

UPDATE: TMZ claims Drake pulled the song because he didn’t think it was appropriate to release it in the wake of the Astroworld tragedy, not because it referenced Kanye and Kim. It will reportedly be released on an upcoming deluxe edition of They have amnesia.
