Nikki Bella is on her way to the hospital in this sneak peek of what’s sure to be an emotional episode, and even though she’s starting to experience labor pains, it’s her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev who’s really feeling the pressure.
“What I’m nervous about the most is, you have a certain attachment to it, you know?” he tells Nikki in the above clip. “Like, I don’t have the same attachment because it’s not within me for nine months.”
The soon-to-be mom is quick to reassure Artem that he’s going to be “an amazing dad,” but that doesn’t stop him from continuing to worry about everything.
“Honestly, I’m s–ting myself,” the professional dancer admits in a confessional. “I’m sitting in the car thinking, ‘This is it.'”
Nikki then turned to Artem for advice, who understood her hesitance about forcing the feuding family together.
“The only positive I see about it all, it’s better to go through it now than it be our wedding,” Nikki relayed. “Whenever we decide to do that.”
After this conversation, Artem went on a hike with Kathy and gauged her feelings about Jon attending Nikki’s potential baby shower.
“They don’t know what to do,” the Dancing With the Stars pro told his future mother-in-law. “They just don’t want to upset anyone, you know, by inviting and people get offended and their dad might be there and how you feel.”
At this point, Artem asked Kathy point blank, “If they invite, let’s say their dad, would you come?”
To get through her baby blues, the new mom shares that she hired a life coach and began to open up to other moms about what she was feeling. The hard part though, was telling Artem what she was going through, which only happened after some nudging on Brie’s part.
“I’ll admit, I was just really mean just about certain things. And he was kind of like, ‘Whoa.’ And I would tell Brie, like, ‘Brie, I’m being so mean and it’s like I can’t even stop myself.’ And she’s like you really need to talk to Artem,” Nikki recalls of the situation. “It actually took Brie to call Artem and be like, ‘This is what Nicole is going through and she’s hiding it and you need to be aware.’ So Brie called him.”
This, of course, angered Nikki. As she recalls to Katherine, “I got so mad. I was like, ‘It’s not your place. This is my life! This is my relationship!'”
It ended up being the right decision though, because Nikki says it pushed her to the point where they “could communicate.” She tells Katherine, “It was so awesome and he felt terrible.”
Texas singer Nikki McKibbin, an American Idolseason one finalist, has died. She was 42.
Her husband, Craig Sadler, announced on Facebook on Saturday, Oct. 31 that his wife, who also went by Nikki Sadler, had suffered a brain aneurysm on Wednesday, Oct. 28. E! News learned on Sunday morning that Nikki passed away and that funeral arrangements are pending.
A statement was later posted on American Idol‘s Twitter page. It read, “Nikki McKibbin was an incredible talent and we are deeply saddened by the news of her passing. She was part of our American Idol family and will be truly missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.”
“She would already be gone, but she’s an organ donor and has been kept on life support to make that possible,” Craig had written on Saturday. “That shouldn’t be a surprise to us. Even at the end she is still giving. She was so loved that I know thousands of you will be grieving with us. There are only a few hours left for me to hold her hand and kiss her forehead.”
“The current Covid situation won’t allow the huge service that she deserves, but I would like to offer you the opportunity to honor her,” he continued. “She will be taken to the OR at 3:00 am Central time to give her final gift that will save the lives of strangers.”
He added, “You probably know she practically worshiped Stevie Nicks. Before they begin, they will play ‘Landslide’ for her one last time. If you are able, you can pause at 3:00 wherever you are and listen to it with her. She will know that you’re sharing her farewell. She loved so many of you and I know you loved her too.”
Seeing Artem Chigvintsev‘s jealous side! During the Thursday, May 7, episode of Total Bellas, Nikki Bella and her then-boyfriend, 37, plan a date night that includes salsa dancing. However, things don’t quite go as planned.
“When we were at Temptation Island, Artem shows up and Nicole’s like, ‘Oh my gosh! You have to meet this guy. We need to take care of him, Artem. You need to cook for him,” Brie Bella explains in a confessional interview in a new sneak peek. “I could tell Artem was starting to get really mad and really irritated, which is funny because I’ve never seen him like that. And I was like, ‘Oh, I think he’s getting jealous.’”
When the professional dancer left, Brie, 36, took Nikki, also 36, to a salsa club instead, despite how drunk her sister was. While at the club, she attempted to explain to Nikki why Chigvintsev left.
“In his eyes, he thought you flirted with another guy,” Brie says before noting, “You didn’t.” Nikki quickly tells her sister, “I did nothing wrong tonight,” before explaining that she now wants to dance, so she’ll find another guy to dance with.
Of course, once the Burn the Floor alum returns to the club to try and make up with his girlfriend, he sees her talking to Brie’s friend, Lewis. “You are like a pro at freaking salsa dancing. Oh my god, I would love to dance with you!” she tells Lewis as Chigvintsev watches. “Please, you gotta teach me sh-t.”
With that, he storms out — and Brie chases after him. “I showed up there just to clear the air. I’m worried,” the choreographer explains in a confessional. “But she’s just gonna ignore me and continue this conversation with this guy? Like, where’d this even come from?”
It takes guts to go through a heartbreaking split on national television, and Nikki Bella has misgivings about airing her breakup with fiancé John Cena on her and twin sister Brie Bella’s E! reality show Total Bellas.
“The one thing I really regret about showcasing the breakup is that no one got to hear [John’s] voice, and it just seemed so one-sided,” Nikki, 36, tells Health magazine of the pair’s 2018 split. “I felt like that wasn’t fair to him because he was on this journey with us from the beginning.”
She goes on: “What people don’t realize is that John never took one paycheck from Total Bellas. It was beautiful — he was fully there to support me. I’ll never forget his support and his love. That’s what made me sad — I don’t want to say it became the Nikki show, but in a way it did because you didn’t get to see John anymore.”
Nikki started dating the wrestler, 35, in 2012, and they got engaged in 2017. Us Weekly exclusively broke the news of their first split in April 2018. They briefly reconciled weeks later before parting ways for good in July 2018.
“I thought she made a big mistake!” Brie, 36, says of her sister’s breakup in the Health interview. “They were just such a lovely couple, and I thought they were such a perfect match. Because I’m married, I felt like there are ups and downs in relationships, and you work on things — you don’t just give up. But then, after the breakup, I started seeing that they both wanted different things. So then I approved of the breakup.”
Adds Nikki: “My family loves John. I love John — he’s such an amazing person. The timing was off.”
